Future Day on 16th October 2017

As part of the Lörrach Future Forum, teams have spent a year devising solutions based around the theme »Changing the way we live: sustainable living and working«. Various working groups were set up to look at the issues of housing shortages and land requirements; multi-cultural and multi-generational homes; mixed-use zones, units and co-working. The results will now be exhibited throughout Lörrach castle, together with other specific case studies from other towns and cities. Participants will include local guests, such as the town’s mayor, Mr Lutz, and those who have worked on the Future Forum, as well as the renowned sociologist, Harald Welzer (author of »Selbstdenken« and »Die smarte Diktatur«) who will give the keynote speech. Please join us at the Future Day on 16th October from 5.30pm to 9.00pm at Lörrach Castle when we shall present the results of the Future Forum. On behalf of the Schöpflin Foundation and fairNETZt we are pleased to invite you to participate. Admission is free.
