For the first time, Netzwerk Recherche, the German Association of Investigative Journalists, awards the »Grow«-Fellowship for Non-profit Journalism in Europe, supported by the Schöpflin Foundation. It is intended for journalists working on a non-profit media project in Europe, who want to learn more about membership programs or ways of funding, and are interested in meeting other non-profit news entrepreneurs, investigative reporters and experts.
The »Grow«-Fellowship enables five pioneers of this emerging scene to attend the Global Investigative Journalism Conference, the world’s largest international gathering of investigative reporters, which takes place from 26th to 29th September 2019 in Hamburg. In addition, all »Grow« Fellows are invited to join an exclusive pre-conference event on 25th September 2019. In this one-day workshop international experts and colleagues will share their knowledge of how to survive as a Non-profit Journalism entrepreneur and how to build revenue for sustainable newsrooms. For this workshop, Netzwerk Recherche collaborates with the Global Investigative Journalism Network, which brings in global experience and other helpful resources.
Make the most of your Non-profit Journalism ideas and become part of the evolving Non-profit Journalism »Grow« Community!
