Once again this year, during the Easter, summer and autumn school holidays, the Schöpflin Werkraum is offering creative workshops for children and young people. Registration for all the workshops is now open!
What’s new this year?
During the Easter holidays we’ll be working for the first time with the Ludwigsburg-based Tinkertank Initiative. Their goal is to stimulate creativity and interest in technology, computer science and sustainability. On the four-day course, children will make slot machines out of broken toys and old electrical equipment. The workshop is particularly designed to attract girls - as well as boys.
We are also offering three workshops in collaboration with InterACT English, an organisation which combines cultural education and the teaching of English. During the Easter and summer holidays children and young people (i.e. school-age pupils) will be introduced to the English language in a playful way through discussions on art and culture. The sessions will be led by Teaching Artists – described by InterACT English as native English speakers who are professional language educators and artists.
So – whether you’re interested in being a sculptor, photographer, artisan, philosopher, designer, sprayer, dancer, sportsperson, radio announcer, film director or chef – the Werkraum has something for you!
Please note that discounts are available for single-parent families, children of the unemployed and others in similar circumstances.
