What does Together for Future do?

Together for Future works for a livable, just and sustainable world with a focus on climate protection. Through mobilization, dialogue and networking, the association is committed to ensuring that the Paris Agreement on climate change is adhered to.

Why are we awarding a grant to Together for Future?

Almost all major fossil infrastructure projects are transnational initiatives, involving financiers, insurers, implementation sites, and suppliers from different countries. Germany often plays a significant role— whether through state-backed loans, the headquarters of key financial institutions, or insurers. In order to effectively prevent harm and expose abuses, international cooperation between movements needs to be better organized. In cooperation with the activist and author Luisa Neubauer, Together for Future is promoting an initiative to strengthen international cooperation for climate justice.

What is our mutual goal?

The goal of this collaboration is to strengthen connections between activists from the Global North and the Global South in order to increase pressure on fossil fuel corporations and put an end to climate-damaging business practices. A key element will be a hub where Luisa Neubauer and other activists, working closely with international environmental lawyers, will coordinate globally connected resistance efforts.
