The non-profit cooperative Materialnetzwerk eG (MNWeG) aims to develop high-quality and field-tested learning materials as Open Educational Resources (OER) and make them available to all learners and teachers free of charge. In addition, MNWeG provides a web-based editor that can be used to create learning materials that meet uniform formal and content criteria.
We believe that transforming schools into modern environments for education and learning also requires the availability of new educational materials and structures. MNWeG wants to support schools in their development towards becoming such environments and to give teachers tools with which they can cooperatively design learning materials and exchange them with each other.
MNWeG aims to provide schools and teachers nationwide with a platform that simplifies the use, creation, and exchange of learning materials. Together, we want to professionalize the work of MNWeG and make it better known, so that we can reach more teachers and thereby contribute to the transformation of schools.
