What does EDUCATION Y do?

Through its various programmes, EDUCATION Y provides sustainable support to families – but also to school teachers and nursery school staff who, in turn, support children and young people through important stages of their lives.  EDUCATION Y aims to work with families and teachers to help adolescents freely develop their talents and potential - particularly during these times of digital and social change. They must be able to lead an independent and self-determined life while playing a fully active role in society.

Why have we awarded a grant to EDUCATION Y?

Together our aim is to ensure that children acquire the key skills they need for the 21^st Century. We also want to campaign for children to be empowered and ensure that they have a key role to play in our democracy.

With the K21 alliance supported by the Schöpflin Stiftung, EDUCATION Y is driving through real educational reform. The K21 alliance – a leadership network that promotes innovation in education – focuses on strengthening the personalities of children and young people while at the same time empowering them to keep abreast of developments in society and to get involved in shaping those developments.
