Why have we awarded a grant to Open Markets Institute?

The OMI team possesses deep expertise in how monopoly power threatens democracy and what to do about it. OMI works closely with policymakers, law enforcers, civil society groups, academics, legal experts, small and medium-sized enterprises, creators, and activated grassroots groups in North America and Europe.

What is our mutual goal?

Our goal is to improve trans-Atlantic cooperation on combating the many threats posed by corporate consolidation. By working with a broad array of stakeholders, we will create forums for shared policy proposals, open direct channels of communication, and build a sophisticated transnational approach to the anti-monopoly work.
